Im sure this has been covered in depth, but bringing it up again for discussion. I have a full size spotter on the way (Brunton Icon 25-50x - basically same similar specs as a Maven S1.A)

Im going to use it to glass from vantage points I can get to with a Truck or UTV - I won't be packing it in my pack (have a mini spotter for that). So, weight isn't a big issue (as in probably don't need carbon fiber) but just looking for an affordable quality full size tripod. I am 5'11 and the spotter is angled, so I need it be high enough for me to use standing up.

Is there anything out there worth looking at for say $150-250/3$ budget?

The inverted leg Leofoto tripod is solid and has the height. Just above the price range though.

There are cheap Amazon tripods with fat leg sections that advertise for shooting, they are heavy enough for spotters. Seems like Faneu or something is a newcomer to cheap tripods.

One of the best deals out there is the Slik CF-634 and SVH-520 fluid head. Normally it's $399.95. We have it on sale for $279.95 and then use Promo code promo24 and save another 10% off.

Here is the link to see it
