Hey guys, I'm looking for an affordable rangefinder that will work out to 1000 yards. I've had Bushnell's and Nikons. they kind of suck at anything over 300 yards. any recommendations?
Been seeing the Vortex Ranger . my buddies like them, but they are using them for bow.My buddy has a Vortex Ranger and it ranges further than my Sig.
Let's go for descent lol
These would be way better than anything new in that price range. Leica's just work. The Leica 1600b or 2000b here in the classifieds or eBay. You usually can get them in the $350+ range. Mine range the distance they state plus baro press, temp, and shot angle.

This is the truth. My 20 year old Nikon Prostaff ranges better than my buddies Ranger. No chance the Ranger will be reliable out to 1,000y. I’m on my 3rd one thanks to Vortex’s “Various & Intermittent Problems” guarantee, and it has trouble on deer and steel past about 400y so it stays in my bow case.
The Razor 4K is pretty impressive though.
Been eyeing them. My buddy likes hisI had a Leupold RX-650 that fits the bill. worked great.
