Looking to pick up a new hunt rig. I'm between the Aero Solus Hunter and the Springfield Waypoint. Both are fairly comparable. Both are 700 footprint actions, both offer a great stock, triggertech triggers and detachable box mags. The Aero offers a one piece machined action with 20 moa rail where as the Waypoint is pinned.
The Aero also offers the ability to change barrels via barrel nut and prefits though I will most likely never take advantage of this feature. The Aero offers a 3 lug 60 degree throw while the Springfield offers a 2 lug 90 degree throw. The waypoint offers a carbon fiber barrel option (BSF) which lightens the rifle up to 7# 11oz vs Aero's 8.5#. Which would you choose and why?
Thanks,
Blake

Waypoint is a more proven commodity at this point. Both are pretty “chunky” for a hunting rifle imho. Both sure seem well built.

I’d take a Seekins over either of them…and did. Fantastic hunting rifle in every way. Might include them in the race.

I have both the Waypoint and the Seekins Element. The Waypoint is definitely a chunky feeling rifle, but it shoots great. If I had to choose one , I’d definitely choose the Seekins though. It shoots lights out and just feels better in my hands.
