I’m flying from Kentucky to Idaho the last week of September. I’m planning on hunting unit 50. Any advise in flying with gear, meat, and hunting unit 50 would be greatly appreciated.

passed on a cow calf . It’s hard hunting the elk are very spread out we averaged 7-10 miles a day found lots of fresh sign but the elk where quiet and sparse . The mountains are steep and times of blow down from the fires . Go have fun hope you have better luck than we did . True, more elk in CO and no wolves. Search the forum there are plenty of threads on the info you are looking for.Land and drive to CO, no elk only wolves in ID.
