I always find it reassuring this time of year to see no one is inquiring about my elk unit. After a few years of cruising the forums it seems the same units get brought up over and over. With information so easily available, I'm keeping my fingers crossed no one spills the beans on some of the "lesser" OTC CO units.

Is your "lesser OTC unit" unit 117? Because west of I-25 there are no "lesser" OTC units IMO.

Unit 10 actually cant believe more people don't ask about it... I guess I was trying to relay a bit of advice and see how many others hunt units that aren't as popular because of elk density, public land access or low cow to bull ratio's but have figured out how to consistently take mature bulls. If I knew nothing about western hunting and was researching a unit for my first elk hunt, I'd steer clear of units that are commonly mentioned on the forum boards. Unless someone PM's you information, I'd say the less information you can find online about a unit the better.
