I'm interested in getting a simple optic for a 22 rifle. I think what I want is something with an etched reticle so that no illumination is necessary. This is just for plinking and small game hunting at ranges under 50 yds, so I'd prefer a simple and inexpensive sight.
Is there one that looks like the one pictured, with an etched reticle, and no magnification? I don't even know if those options are available. I like that it sits low on the rifle.
I'm also considering a peep sight, but just haven't made up my mind.
Maybe there is a better option available.
Thanks.

Nothing that looks quite like that.

This is a 1x prism scope:

Most are going to be more like a small tube. Like a mini scope. What you have pictured is a red dot sight, that cannot work with a etched reticle.

For peeps, look at Tech Sights. They use M16 style peeps and are pretty fun on a .22.
