Is anybody other than me tired of advertised weights being, shall I say, "optimistic"? My latest disappointment, EVO 3300 advertised weight 3lbs 13Oz. Actual weight 4lbs 2 oz for a difference of 5 ounces. Just wondering . . .
That’s a decent difference then. Usually SG is one of the more accurate listings for weight. I know the newer Krux frame weighs more than the previous EVO and your weight seems to line up more with that. I had an Evo with 3300 or 3600 bag a number of years back and the weight was fairly accurate so not sure what the discrepancy is about. The weight has also been accurate on my Terminus and Solo/Xcurve.
I do generally agree that it’s a frustrating issue when weights are notably out from advertised.
I'm not trying to pick on SG. It's just a general frustration I've had when trying to reduce pack weight. I've gotten to where I weigh everything as soon as I buy it because I don't trust the manufacturer specs anymore.
