I've had the AOT on my bow for 3 years at least. I've had zero issues and really like it where it is. Stan perfex. Can't recall what size.

AOT vote here if looking for just one. I have used them both. I really like the robin hood more for everyday range use and 3d, but hunting the AOT wins hands down. Quieter deployment operation and never leaves the bow, ( i'm a harness and pack dumper when possible ). If it was broken by something during a hunt, odds are good there is worse things already broke.
At the OP, there are several ways to mount them depending on your setup and style. I use stabilizer mounting for my setup and have the bridge lock adapter. If I was using a tightspot I would definitely mount on the riser.

After running around for probably a mile yesterday chasing some antelope I am very happy with the Robin Hood. I didn’t notice any noise coming from the holster either.
