Adding backpack straps to Kenosha duffel

I am curious if anyone has ever added backpack straps to a Kifaru Kenosha duffel bag. It seems backpack straps might be helpful when using the duffel as a carry on bag in the airport. Thoughts?

If I were to do it, I would make them attach at the top via the loops at ends of zippers and at the bottom via the side molle. This would allow for no sewing/bag modification. You could use just plain webbing for the straps. No need for fancy padding. Attach them with those gated g hook buckles. Then you can just store them in the side pocket when you don't need them.
