I don’t have anything to compare it to but I I’ve been impressed by it. It’s been on my 20” 300wsm most of the time. Probably not technically hearing safe but it’s not uncomfortable to shoot without muffs.I'm trying to avoid justifying adding another can to the herd. Suppressors are worse than Pringles that way. That Nomad sure is light...pretty quiet on 308 Win sized cartridges?
Pretty self explanatory. Are listed weights for these two suppressors accurate with direct thread mounts included?
This is correct. Dead Air includes their mount in the weight, SiCo does not.I am pretty sure the claimed weight of the Evo doesn't include either of the direct thread adapters you must have to use it. As a result, my EVO was heavier than expected.
Dead Air Nomad (not Ti) 14oz ready to shoot. Slightly lighter (per my scale than they promised.
Silencer Co Evo 12.7 oz ready to shoot - heavier than they promised.
Pew Science has some pretty good data on suppressors. You can select supersonc .308 and then see which ones they have rated.I'm trying to avoid justifying adding another can to the herd.
