Pretty self explanatory. Are listed weights for these two suppressors accurate with direct thread mounts included?

I have an Evo with the 5/8 head installed. I will try to weigh it next time I get out shooting and report back.

I'm trying to avoid justifying adding another can to the herd. Suppressors are worse than Pringles that way. That Nomad sure is light...pretty quiet on 308 Win sized cartridges?

I don’t have anything to compare it to but I I’ve been impressed by it. It’s been on my 20” 300wsm most of the time. Probably not technically hearing safe but it’s not uncomfortable to shoot without muffs.

I am pretty sure the claimed weight of the Evo doesn't include either of the direct thread adapters you must have to use it. As a result, my EVO was heavier than expected.

Dead Air Nomad (not Ti) 14oz ready to shoot. Slightly lighter (per my scale than they promised.
Silencer Co Evo 12.7 oz ready to shoot - heavier than they promised.

This is correct. Dead Air includes their mount in the weight, SiCo does not.

Dead Air Nomad Ti without mount is 8.2 ounces.

Harvester Evo DT mount is 2.1 ounces, remove that and you get their advertised 10.8 ounces.

You can swap the SiCo to a titanium mount to shave a little weight if you want. I have the Harvester Evo and a TBAC Ultra 5. Honestly love the Evo and feel it represents an excellent value. I have not found the few extra ounces over the Ultra 5 to be noticeable.

Pew Science has some pretty good data on suppressors. You can select supersonc .308 and then see which ones they have rated.

I went with Otter Creek Labs Hydrogen L vs the Nomad LT, but they score about the same.

Perfect. This is the exact info I was looking for. Thank you.

My YHM R2 is 15oz and very good at suppression. The EVO looks lika true value but not worth getting to save 2 oz. The Nomad TI is another story, but my R9 is 10.9 oz and 5 inches long. It's not quit hearing safe, but knocks down the noise and blast significantly for hunting. May just get another rimfire can.
