Accura V2 w/Crossfire 2-7x32

I recently purchased a CVA Accura V2 (PR edition) and put a Vortex Crossfire 2-7x32 BDC on it for New Mexico elk. Did I underpower on the scope? I was considering the 3-9x40 BDC but decided to save a little. Thoughts?
