Trigger tech special clicks when on safe

Just installed a new trigger tech special on an impact NBK action. When the trigger is on safe there is a tiny amount of travel and a small clicking noise when the trigger is pressed. Is this normal?

Their customer service is excellent. They really went out of way to help me solve a fitment issue and refunded me when it did not work out.

Interestingly I spoke with TT customer service and they said it is fine.
