Accupoint 3-9 vs 2.5-12.5

I have a Trijicon Credo 2.5-10x56 that I just put on a 30-06 for a spot and stalk bear hunt this spring and I am very happy with it, this is the only gun I have hunted with that did not sport a meopta or S&B for about 20 years and it did not disappoint me.

I have the 2.5-12.5 on a 22-250 and the 3-9 on a 7MM08 and an AR. 2.5-12.5 needed taller rings to clear the bolt on a Bergara and is noticeably heavier. Have been hunting with but not shot anything with this 22-250 yet but have done lots of hunting with the 3-9s. 3-9 is lighter and is perfect for hunting. Both are super clear and the green MOA dot works well.

I have a 2 Accupoint 3-9s, both with the mil-dot. One mounted on a 30-06 and another on a .223. I really like them, but sometimes wish the reticle was thinner for target shooting. For a non-dialing hunting scope they are great. Recently, I had an issue with the bottom portion of the reticle either breaking, or somehow changing shape. It corrects itself if you bang the bolt in/out a couple times, then comes back after firing. Zero did not change after this problem started. I'm sending the scope back shortly for warranty work - will update here.
Got the scope back. Repaired free of charge (minus the shipping to Trijicon). The repaired scope seems good as new, and has so far held zero across a few range trips. I don’t dial with it.
