I have either those same pouches, or very similar. I also bought a set that is the same but oriented horizontally rather than vertically. They fit my SO pack belt well and work pretty good. I keep phone or gps in the vertical one along with turkey call if in season and headlamp, elk calls, etc in the horizontal one. My pack is made from xpac so it’s waterproof so my only complaint about these pouches is that they aren’t waterproof.

If I want a belt pouch I use a dump pouch with a drawstring top. I have a few different sizes.

I really like the HPG chest kit bag.

I use them on my hunting saddle setup. They are nice and convenient. I was looking for something a bit more secure, with zippers for this. For $17 for the pair I took the plunge :) Came last night. I am pleasantly surprised. Fits nice and snug and has some separation panels on the inside. I'm not sure I could have sewn up my own for less money.
