Curious about this arrow.. I cant get a 300 spine in the deep six versions and thinking of going with this arrow. Any complaints. Looking for long distance shooting and penetration. Heard some things that these arrows dont penetrate as good? Not sure if i believe that... ANy thoughts

I'm not a fan of the Deep Six configuration, but am a fan of ACC's. I shoot FMJ's on my current bows, but still have old ACC's from 20 years ago that I shoot from my older bows and I've killed a ton of animals with them and penetration was never an issue on anything.

I shot the 340 ACC Pro Hunters for awhile, and used them to shoot a nice black bear. No complaints here and they penetrate just fine. Shot side-by-side the FMJ's I was previously using they had slightly less penetration in a foam target, but I don't think that is a very fair comparisson to shooting an animal. Depending on the build you are looking for, they are a really good option if you don't want to shoot the heavier FMJ in the same spine.

Only thing I didn't like was the factory cresting. Makes it a pain to refletch single vanes or find a wrap that is the same exact weight as the factory crest from Easton. Best thing to do is remove the factory crest right away, and either use your own wraps or fletch bare shaft for a consistent weight that you can reproduce.

However, I now shoot the deepsix FMJ 330 and love them.

The ProHunter has been my go to arrow & no penetration issues.

I don't want to spread rumors, so a call to Easton even on my part would be beneficial to find out. I've heard several times the last month this arrow might be on the cut list. I hope not!

Heard the same thing about it being discontinued, I've been stocking up. It's a great arrow so I'm not sure why they are dropping it. I did see that they are labeling it for cabelas as the ACComplice so maybe it will be available that way.

I had shot the ACCs and liked the specs. Good arrows. Were hard to pull out of my practice target (Rhinehardt).

I now shoot the Deep Six FMJs and say I prefer them. Not to say the ACCs were bad I just really liked the FMJ all around performance and narrow diameter.
