As a Christian, I share the same reaction to that sort of BS. Blame shifting in its most pathetic form.

There's crap you sometimes have to do, that doesn't need to be on film.

I've finished deer with a knife, more than once. I've been bit by a deer and still have a scar above my left thumb. I've done a poor imitation of a literal rodeo (me, riding a deer; neither of us intended it to turn out that way and lessons were learned, on my part).

Thankfully nobody had a camera.

Considered finishing off a bull elk with a knife. Made the 4 mile hike back to the truck for more ammo for the hunter instead. That was a rodeo, but the thought of stabbing it quickly was ruled out in favor of an 8 mile hike up a mountain.

Yeah, shit happens in the woods sometimes, it's just not filmed.

His got filmed, then someone held it till it benefited them.

Be mad at whoever that was. Sportsmen in general should have his back on this. Making a big deal of it on our side says "Even hunters and trappers think this is disgraceful"
