Yep. The note about "going away from volume to purpose built lines" makes me wonder if the price point will be different.

The phrasing is practically a flashing arrow sign saying it's gonna be higher.

Maybe because they're using harder AR type primers? That would make sense.

That would be my guess too. I have the same problem with Frontier stuff in my Tikka.

I haven’t shot the 77 OTMs yet, but I’ve shot several hundred of the Sabre line in my 223, 300 BLK, and 6.5 Creed. No duds for me at this point.

I think that’s been the plan since AAC shut down. They were having problems with their supplier and decided to close the doors until their own powder plant was up and running.

I was curious about this too.
So they are building their own native powder mfg plant? That seems like a huge investment.

If anybody has any sources on this, I’d love to know more

I’ve heard it in an AAC or PSA video, no idea which one though. Would’ve have been last fall sometime.

I was curious so got to googling just with my own 6 ARC experience. I use the GM205MAR primers for the AR because I read about a risk of slam fires, and I use the GM205M in wife's bolt. The cup thickness is as follows:
205MAR (0.0255)
205M (0.0225)

I don't need a new source of slightly overpriced mid-low tier ammo. I need them to churns out tens of millions of rounds of steel case 7.62x39 so I can magdump into garbage for cheap again.

My buddy will be overjoyed to hear this. He loves the 77gr .223 loads for pigs at the price/performance value. He was so upset when he couldn’t find aac anymore

I've been holding onto 300 rounds of the 77gr otm that i've had a few people offer to buy off me but my AR likes it so much. and the 140gr 6.5cm was pretty impressive, beat out Hornady match sd/es at least on the lots I had. Hopefully its around the same price point..
