A tough hunt ends in sweet success ;)

Got this trophy in HD attic after a two month hunt ! I'd have poisoned it out but he would have gone into a wall to die for sure. I usually get them in a night or two but this one was fast and smart. Two months I've been trying to get him. Caught him at the far end of the attic where there was no cover and dropped him on a dead run.

Man ! I don't even want to talk about the pack out ! On my hands and knees through a hell of fiberglass , wire , and ducts. My next hunting pants are going to have sewn in cs pads !

Haha! I remember my first mouse like it was yesterday... Since then I have added several other subspecies from all over the world.

I've probably killed twenty rats in the attic in the past couple years but the real trophies were the six opossums I killed up there last year. It was crazy ! One of the opossums fell down into a wall. Long story short is I put six holes into the sheetrock to find and get it out. Old house is over hung by big old live oaks so I get a constant stream of rats and other things chewing in.

I never checked if it was buck or doe . After the pack out the lenght of the gmu I was kind of in a rush to get a shower.
