A group has hacked into Russian streaming services Wink and Ivi (like Netflix) and several Live Russian TV Channels and is steaming Ukraine footage.

With all the disinformation coming from all media outlets I would caution everyone to Watch The Left Hand

This is the perfect opportunity for bad things to happen when everyone is looking elsewhere

You mean this expedited hurling towards the cliff we've got going on in America is going to get worse? Actually I've been tracking each and every one of these moves for years now. The hurt train has been in motion for a long time, but now it's picking up speed at an exponential rate.

Where do you think I learned all this from
Paying attention to detail is one of my super powers
You’re absolutely correct in your assessment of the happenings in the USA ….been leading us to this place for a long time now

Let's just hope there is not a Halfback pass on the end around to a quarterback all alone up the sideline on the opposite side of the field. Nothing brings two together quicker or faster than a common enemy.

So there was this country years ago, and a chain islands in the Pacific Ocean, all the worlds focus was on Europe and on December the 7th, 1941, we left our backside exposed.

So when the whole world is focused on Russia, who is watching China?

I am just hoping "History" does not repeat itself.

China is already telling the world not to conflate the situation between themselves and Taiwan with Russia/Ukraine.

Taiwan perhaps, since the situation is similar to
Ukraine, but, overall, China’s economy is too hinged upon US commerce and they are on the edge of a recession. There’s nothing to be gained by an attack on the US. But, if they think they can get away with it, they’ll seize Taiwan. Putting Russia in their place, sinking their economy, whooping their military and watching their country collapse on the world stage will keep China’s aggressive tendencies in check for years to come.

I pretty much agree. My one caution is that economic links have failed to prevent war in the past (WWI, Germanies attack on Russia in WWII) and the strength of them should not be taken as a guarantee of peace. However, the presence of them certainly makes war less likely. I fully agree that China is watching and learning, not all of the learning will be to the benefit of peace, but the higher the price Russia pays, the less likely China will be to use military means to redraw its boarders.

Taiwan has long recognized that it cannot hold back an invasion, so it has focused on making itself indigestible with the promise of years of bloody gorilla warfare if China takes it by force. Russia is failing to rapidly seize and digest Ukraine, we should make the price very high and be willing to pay the proportionally small economic price to do so. The next time may not come so cheap. Likewise, while the will was lacking, this could have been avoided with a strong response in August, 2008 or March, 2014. While it would not have been as easy, it is akin to how German solders had order to withdraw if any resistance was encountered during the March, 1936 occupation of the Rhineland and the German General Staff had plans drafted to depos of Hitler when (as they thought) that occupation failed.
