A-Bolt Rebarrel?

Anyone ever have an A-Bolt rebarreled? I have heard this is a nightmare. Are there pitfalls involved?

Yeah, you have to get a gunsmith who actually knows how to work on a rifle.

From my understanding they use a loctite on the threads. The Smith needs to heat the area first, then you're good to go

Local gunsmith here said he made a special clamp/mount/tool? that helps - then it's just a matter of how much heat and banging he has to do.
