95 TMK in 6 CM

Just read the whole thread. This is pretty crazy. Hoping you guys get it figured out cause I want to see some of those necropsy pictures. Would like to know what the problem is too.

My 16” PBB 6cm is shooting everything pretty good.. shot some quick 3rd groups today. Heading to South Texas so I should have some data on the 95tmk’s on 220 to 240 lb whitetail

Any idea what kind of velocity you are seeing? I’m struggling with the 95’s in my 243 but never considered trying varget. I have a short barrel so want to hopefully find a loaf that’s still plenty fast.

I should have a new garmin next week. I’ll update.

Took a leap and bought a pile of these. Was a bit worried with some of the negative reports in here but those worries went away. Loaded H4350 at 43.0 and 43.5 at 2.685” coal which is jumping a mile in my chamber that is cut for 108’s.

18” benchmark barrel in a tikka action

Top group is 43.5 at 3148 FPS and bottom is 43.0 at 3100 FPS. 43.5 had about 1/3 of the shots with pretty heavy bolt lift so I’ll likely load the 43.0 and call it good or drop even a touch more. Not sure on that bottom shot…. Fairly caffeinated so we’ll blame that. Both 10 shot groups.

Looks like you got a winner

So I got a batch of these to try and in 2 guns I’m hitting pressure at 41.5 grains of 4350 with Peterson brass. 42 grains is very heavy bolt lift and shaving brass off the head stamp.

Reading @Formidilosus comment about them being seated closer to 2.6 makes me think I need to seat them farther in to bleed off some pressure. I have them seated about 2.75 I think.
If there’s anybody on here that ordered some and can’t get them to shoot, I’ll take em!
i had issues with pressure guess I need to try and seat them farther in

I’m not sure how much that would help with pressure but sure worth trying. Are you touching the lands at that length? I loaded mine to 2.685” and I’m not sure I’d want to seat them much longer anyway. 2.685” puts the bullet boat tail junction just above the neck/shoulder junction.

No I’m waaaaaay off….my 109 eldm are a touch over 2.8 and I think those are still like 50 thou off

Yes….its weird in that 24” Seekins I’m pushing a 109 3003 with 41.4 grains of powder and 42 grains with the tmk isn’t close to that
I’m seeing 3080 and the barrel only has 15 rounds through it - 20” 243 with TMKS and 4350. Either something is off on your end or I have a magic tikka factory barrel
