95 TMK in 6 CM

I’m thinking it’s barrel issue. Just shot 10 matchburners with 4350. 7 of them them were a hair under 2moa and the other 3 opened it up over 3 moa. I rechecked torque on everything last night and verified twist with cleaning rod. Frustrating …

Yes. There is something very wrong. It may not be the barrel, or it may. But it isn’t a bullet issue.

Tikka t3x. Maven rs1.2. UM rings. 16.5” Wilson 7.5 twist. Factory stock still on.

Check that the action screws aren’t protruding into the action. Recheck/remount the scope and rings. Make sure that there is PLENTY of space around the barrel for free-float- not factory gap.

However, those groups most look like a loose barrel to me.

I have some factory ammo coming this afternoon I'm going to shoot a group.

However, those groups most look like a loose barrel to me.

There is less gap than factory on the free float. I remounted the scope. I’ll try to grind away the barrel channel a little bit where it’s tight and try a few more and see what happens.

No, I just have bullets coming.

I may not get home before dark but I can shoot and check my barrel next week but my barrel is torqued to 90lbs and doing the exact same thing with the TMKS as NoDakhunter.

All I have shot in this barrel is 200 TMK handloads. All crap.

I'm 200 in and all I have is some load data and some hurt steel.

I missed a 12x20 idpa target at 300 with the TMKs!

I didn't get home in time to run mine with the factory stuff. Ill report back or PM you next week.

Form may correct me but I’d just wasting powder with those 95s in your barrel. No way you can shrink a 4”+ group. Easy button would be shoot factory or buy the 103eldx or maybe the 108 and hand load

I just ordered 100 ELDX and ELDMS to play with too. You’re probably right. I just got so excited when they came in stock… really wanted to make them work

I wouldn’t even bother honestly. Unless you scrap the barrel completely just shoot the factory eldx
