95 TMK in 6 CM

43.5 gr H4350? Damn what are you guys shooting for brass & primers? I’m at 42 gr and 2900 out of a 16.5” barrel but didn’t want to step on it too much. I guess the ceiling might be a tad higher than I had thought. I have Peterson w cci 450s.

Try different primers. I have three different rifles that hate those primers, and the exact same loads went from 2 MOA for ten rounds, to less than 1.5 MOA with CCI and Federal.

They go bang. Kinda tight to push in. I've shot a few thousand of them. I'm getting 1.5" MOA with most of my guns.

I switched to CCI 200 primers.

It's still a show over here.

I'm going to wait for a box of factory 108 ELD's to show up and shoot 10 before I pull the barrel and put on my PVA 1:7 barrel.

I noticed the TMK isn't that far into the case neck at the Sierra recommended length of 2.770".

45gr Staball, with the different primers and pushed to 2.680.

Some guns shoot them great, @Dioni A has had good service from them I believe. But in several of my guns the lot number that I have, hasn’t grouped well, and velocity ES has been really high- over 100fps.

I beat on everything and retorqued before that h4350 group.

Tempted to go ahead and pull it but I want to see what the 108 factory load does and then maybe some 112s to make sure it's not scrap metal.

Some guns shoot them great, @Dioni A has had good service from them I believe. But in several of my guns the lot number that I have, hasn’t grouped well, and velocity ES has been really high- over 100fps.

They seem to shoot fine for me but I've definitely heard from others that some lots were erratic.

Man that is just bad. Those groups make it look like they aren’t stabilized. The TMK can be a bit finicky for really good precision, but nothing like that.

I went all in on TMKs.

I did order some stuff to check before I pull this barrel and put the other one on:
- 112 MB
- factory loaded 108 ELD
- buddy is sending me some 109s

I may not get back on it until the middle of the month but I'll sneak back in here when the other barrel is on since its a TMK thread. I'm not going to shoot any more out of this barrel.

I’ve gotten to 1.2” with MB and 1.4” with 108 ELDM, both 10 round groups with H4350 and 210M primers.

95tmk, Once fired black hills gold brass, white river LRP, 37gr Varget .070” off lands (2.745” in this barrel) 2850fps

Remage 16” Arken Outlier barrel with 40-50 rounds through it. Groups opened up as I got further from the lands. I never shot it again after this.

I could’ve fit more Varget in there it was a middle of book load.

How come no one shoots Varget in the 6cm? Besides the fact it’s expensive as hell.

The only time I have had guns shoot multiple mini groups like that. Bolts were loose..
