80% lower ar build

Any of you guys messed with these? Kinda kicking around trying one of the Polymer lowers and build my own...

Only thing I'd say is that polymer doesn't work as well in rifles as it does in handguns. At least not in the case of the polymer Bushmaster...it's maybe the worst AR platform ever made. I like my Glocks fine, and I'm not overly familiar with polymer 80%ers, so maybe they're ok....just make sure before you get one.

Yea, talked to a couple other guys that didn't have anything good to say about the polymer guns. Anybody got experience on an aluminum gun build?

The TN Arms ones are ok, but I don't think they do 80% lowers. I've worked on the aluminum ones, but in a machine shop on a mill with all of the equipment to do it right.

Don't waist your money on a polymer. Find someone with a mill or a drill press with an X Y axis base and do the Aluminum.
