7mm Remington Magnum for all around rifle - which rifle should I buy

The largest Tikka caliber I've ever shot is a 6.5cm. I haven't noticed it recoiling any more or less than other similar rifles in similar calibers.

My .280ai is a R700. My .300wbys were Weatherby Vanguards. 7mmRM was a Sako 75.

Also, I've never replaced anything on a tikka except the $30 vertical grip adapter. So I'm struggling a bit to grasp what you're talking about. Maybe you could explain? Maybe you're pointing out that I'm using a rifle that flat-out works despite me not liking the stock and magazine? I didn't say it needed to be replaced. I said I didn't like it.

I have no idea how that would be any worse than spending twice that on a Browning that I also didn't like.

*shrug*
90% of Sliders here spend $600-1500 on a Tikka after they buy it.
I have over a dozen plain Jane x-bolts that I paid less than $600 all in new.

I've never even seen one...which is what everyone else says about my 3 prohunters. I think they'd group rocks under an inch if you pounded em into the chamber. One lb heavier than normal. Feel 2 pounds heavier. Thats only drawback
I have two prohunters in 7rm and 300wm, and two prohunter 2 in 223 and 7mm-08. I mainly take my 7RM with me to the woods. I would have recommended the prohunter 3 but Steyr doesn't offer 7RM in the prohunters anymore

I think all mine are second version.
Short barreled 308 "mountain", 308 tactical with some extra letters, and sporter weight 25-06. I don’t pay attention to what they are exactly cause disposing or using will be my son's problem. I generally dont sell anything that shoots like they do.

I am looking to purchase a new 7mm Remington Magnum rifle this week to serve as my all around big game hunting rifle. I have extensive experience with the chambering and just haven’t found the rifle I like best for it. Will be used for deer from box stands primarily, but will also be used for hogs and western big game - mule deer, pronghorn, and possibly elk.

I am looking for an all weather rifle and am leaning towards one of the following (no love for tikka):

Browning x bolt 2
Bergara wilderness ridge
Christensen arms mesa
Winchester 70 ultimate shadow

Not a big tinkerer, so looking for a turnkey rifle. Already have my optics.

Thanks

Seekins ph2 havok in classifieds 1-8 twist carbon stock... would be easy choice for me. unless wanting to suppress bc that one has 26 in barrel. If not going to suppress go for it.

I only have an old model 70 from the guns in your list. I think I'd go with the Browning. It seems I hear that they have less issues than the others, and they look pretty cool.
