7mm PRC velocity out of 20" Barrel -- Hornady 160gr CX & Barnes VOR-TX LR

Recently purchased a 20" Browning x-bolt mountain pro SPR in 7mm PRC.

I do not own a chronograph and want to build out a drop table. Has anyone chrono'd the Hornady 160gr CX or the Barnes VOR-TX LR factory ammo loads for the 7mm PRC to get muzzle velocities out of the 20" barrel? If so, what velocities are you seeing vs. published velocities on the box from 24" barrel?

Side note...I understand that the powders that enable the 7mm PRC to operate accurately at top velocities is in short-to-non-existent supply due to powder diversion to artillery shell production. I might wait till that resolves. TBD.

Thank you.

I’m in the same boat, just commenting to follow! Working on borrowing a chrono, I’ll let you know if I get my hands on one.

I have the same rifle. I got 2900 with barnes and I believe like 2700 with hornady.

I actually got my hands on a chrono at the range yesterday! Defiance anti x and proof sendero 20” averaged 2930 fps with the Barnes 160 vor-tx. Plugged that velocity into a basic dope chart and hit steel at 700 after finishing up the zero.
