7mm PRC Tikka - what bullet?

I have essentially this exact build and went with the 180 hybrid. Terminal performance has been great despite low velocities from the 18” barrel. I plan to continue using them.

hard to find anything better than the 180 ELDM for price and performance. Best in class ballistic coefficients and I killed a cow elk bang flop at about 250 yards this season.

If you're getting a 7 PRC there is no reason to not shoot the big heavies. I generally prefer a mono bullet, but I won't discount using a 180g berger either... So yeah I'll likely have 2 loads .....
