7mm PRC recommendations

What is your level of experience with shooting lighter wt magnum rifles? A light wt 7 PRC is probably gonna have a significant recoil. I have shot a 7 rem mag for decades, but my rifle is heavy. Something to consider.

Not much, I figure I can handle it with the suppressor. I don't get out and shoot a lot. I practice a fair amount for hunting season and hunt. That's about it

I have a Fierce 7 PRC with a Scythe on it, and it is unbelievably easy to shoot. I would say recoil is similar to my unsuppressed 7mm-08. My 12 year old will shoot 10 rounds with it, no problem. The Scythe has an external break on it, which helps tame recoil quite a bit more than most suppressors.

I really like my Fierce. Factory ELDX, and reloads with the 175 ELDX and 175 berger with different powders were all under 1 moa, with several 0.5 MOA or less.

I don't have experience shooting the others. I have handled the Weatherby, Seekins, and Springfield Waypoint that liked them all. Never heard a bad thing about Seekins, I just didn't like the spiral fluting as much and the stocks felt "cheaper" to me.

I have had several buddies that had accuracy and quality control issues with Christiensens, so stayed away from those, even though I liked the feel and fit of them.

Isn't the first question how you hunt and then, the rifle choice will make itself clear. If your shots are 400 yds or less, or you do a lot of spot and stalk..................

I keep hunting shots at 600 or less and at 600 conditions have to be right
