7mm PRC & N570

I guess the reason I'm so curious, is that N570 in GRT doesn't show full burnout in a 22" barrel which concerns me. N565 or N560 seem like they should be better options for consistent burnout. Are you guys loading N570 seeing any signs of incomplete burnout? I feel like ES should indicate that, or maybe shooting in the dark even, but I'm not sure

I honestly don't know. The two 7 PRCs I use N570 in both have 24" barrels (CVA Cascade and Weatherby Vanguard). However, there are a few guys on here who have been using N570 in their 20" barrels. There are also some posts on Long Range Only.

I would honestly shoot it, see how it groups and how your ES & SD are and decide then. Who cares how much it burns according to GRT. Go do some real world testing for yourself.

This is my hunting load I have in the pic.

My 18” barrel hovered around mid single digit to low double digit sd’s but I haven’t shot it in a while. Just go shoot it and see what it does in your barrel.
