77 TMK 8208 XBR load dev

I did a pressure test with XBR, CCI 400 and 450, Starline Rem 223 brass. 23, 23,5, 24, 24,5 ... no pressure signs, not hard bolt, no flat primers. I am gonna see what 24g w/ 450's do in a 10 round group.

So that might be a bit much for the 79 DRT too? Was gonna try that as well. ... dumb Q, how do you test your ammo wet? Just spray it with water?

What cartridge OAL?

What’s the H20 capacity of your fire formed and sized case?

41’s and 450’s make no discernible difference for me in 6ARC and 6dasher.

41,450, BR4 all have thick cup and I’ve seen no difference.

Adjusted down .2 and trued at 625 yards. Might have to kill something with the 77tmk this season and see what all the noise is about.

20" barrel and 2820fps. This velocity is where quick drop with this bullet is on point at most DAs I hunt.

You’re getting 125fps more … with just 2” more barrel. Lower load, only diff is brass … hmm. What is you CBTO?
