But if none of these bikes get delivered it actually is a massive case of fraud, as I’ve seen estimates of up to 10k e-bikes that got sold like this (brands Mukkpet, HeyBike, and Rattan) . Do we as consumers have any recourse besides a refund?

What else do you think you're owed besides a refund?

I guess what I meant was is there anything we can do to make sure we 100% get our refunds, as I’ve never had anything like this happen when buying on Amazon

I feel like they owe me something and I didn't even purchase a bike. I've been checking this thread multiple times a day for updates. LOL

I messaged Amazon too and they said if it doesn't show up I can request a refund after the expected delivery date passes. They were cool about it.

If you want an alternative I own a Wing Freedom Fatty 2 (https://www.wingbikes.com/pages/freedom-fatty) and I'm really happy with it. It's like $1200 but well worth it. It has a few touches some other bikes don't have, including a security system, an optional / really sturdy cargo rack, Shimano gears and shifters, disc brakes, etc.

The only thing I would say about these bike is I've actually used them for hunting, and you have to know what you're getting into. They're great for getting down back roads you might not want to take your hunt rig down and that's what I've used mine for. It's nice to be able to "punch in" 2-3 miles really quickly down some quad trail or jeep road without having to ease my RAM down the same road at 2mph to avoid destroying it.

That said they are EXTREMELY heavy, and that's not just a comment about holding the bike standing next to it. Think about how you're going to carry it, because many bike racks will only hold 1, maybe 2 e-bikes at the most. It takes a lot of room in a truck bed, and the fat tires don't fit a lot of mounting/holding options if you plan to carry it there. The front wheel is typically not removable like a normal bike's would be (like when I carry my mountain bike, I remove the front wheel and have a front-wheel-mount-rack holder in my bed - I can't do that with this one.)

And last but not least these things usually don't have great suspensions. Most have none at all and even the ones that do, they're often under-sized for such a heavy bike. Add my fat butt plus 20lbs of pack weight and a firearm and boy, that is a ROUGH ride. You'd better have a really solid tailbone to take that beating...

Tons of fun though.

Well, the UPS guy just delivered 2 boxes and nary an ebike in sight.

Maybe larger pkgs are delivered on a different truck, but I doubt it.

AMZN tracking does say before 2000 today so there's that modicum of hope.

UPS tracking still says label created,

Keep us up to date on when you are able to request a refund and how that goes. Mine are scheduled for “delivery “ on the 19th according to Amazon… I’m positive I won’t be getting it that day so at this point I just want to know at what point can get my money back🤨

Same boat, except for mine says the 21st. Just hoping the refund process goes smooth! Could have been a great deal but oh well.

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise in my best Gomer Pyle voice.

Look what I just saw on my AMZN tracking.

Earlier today they gave me 15$ credit.

They just offered me 25% refund “if” it shows up late for the inconvenience.

I’m gonna keep working them. I try to negotiate on gas station burritos if they look like they’ve been sitting in the case for a while
