7 PRC LOADS WITH H1000

Hi guys,
I just got some matchkingx 175 to load for my prc. Does anyone have any good recipes with H1000 on these? How bout ELDXs?

Start around 63-64 and work up. You’ll likely max around 68+ depending on brass/chamber. FWIW standard LR have beaten out Magnum primers in a few barrels I’ve worked with.

Thanks for the reply! What you mean by beaten out magnum primers? LR primers shoot more consistent?

Lower ES/SD and slightly higer vel before pressure

We did exactly this on Saturday...Same powder and bullet, CCI LRM primers.
Federal brass.
We stopped at 67.5 not because we were getting pressure signs, but we had cautiously moved up the ladder.
We will load 68 and maybe a few small increments above.

I have 1-rifle that likes 65-grs and another that runs hot at 68-grs.

I settled on 66.5gr H1000 with ADG Brass, CCI250s, and 175gr ELD-Xs at 3.351" COL. Avg 2873fps in a 24" barrel.

These were single round velocities during early load workup...I don't recall the COL I was using at the time for these so likely not the same as what I settled on (I probably started by using the COL that hornady loaded their factory 175gr Precision Hunter at)...but this might give you some ballpark data. Again, ADG brass so might be a fair amount different depending on what you are using.
