7 PRC CARBON BARREL??

This is a bit of a loaded question, but I will share my opinion. If you are truly looking for ultralight go 416R stainless steel light contour fluted barrel. Bartlein, Brux, Benchmark would be my picks. Carbon CAN be less weight, but only of similar contour barrels. If Carbon is your fancy because they "look good" and you can't stand the look of skinny pencil barrels, Bartlein carbon would be my choice. According to the Smith I use, Bartlein has the LEAST amount of carbon barrels that dont "shoot". However they will be on the heavy side of carbon barrels.

Im new to the world of custom rifle builds so I didn’t mean to ask a loaded question just looking for advice. I’ll check that company out!! Thanks you

Only problem is many if not all the companies you listed will not do a skinny stainless barrel. I think Benchmark might but Bartlein will not do anything less than their 2b in stainless or Brux mostly only will go down to a #3 contour which is a great barrel but hardly a "skinny" barrel.

Bart CF barrels are nice and you can get the weight down to a pretty decent weight once chambered. This is a #4 contour 7MM barrel finished just under 23". My smith also really liked everything about working with the Bart CF and like your smith never came across any wonky ones.

My 24" carbon Sendero light Benchmark is 2# 13.8 oz, 7PRC.
My 20" 3B Bartlein is 3#, 7STW

The Benchmark is the most accurate I have shot yet, but that could easily be the cartridge/bullet/powder combo.
