Who has one and how accurate is yours? My biggest beef is that Federal has exclusive control of factory ammo. Even if I did reload this doesn’t look as simple as hand loading with brass.

The ballistics from a 24” tube make the BC look dope for a long range hammer.

I finally took the plunge and will report back over the course of this next year. I understand your sentiment, but the reports that I've seen have come back positive enough that I was willing to try it out.

I’m really interested in the 7 Backcountry. The ballistics look solid on paper. But I’ll be honest… the recent wave of media, podcasts, and influencer hype from Federal has me pumping the brakes a bit.

It feels like every influencer suddenly “switched” to it overnight, which makes it hard to tell whether it’s actually a meaningful improvement or if I’m just being targeted by a marketing blitz. I’m not against new cartridges, but I also don’t want to buy into something that’s more sizzle than steak.
