LS Wild is about ready to get our manufacturing FFL. Interview with ATF is next week.Anyone know of a company selling ammo for 6PRC?
I wouldn't need the turn key solution like that, as I already have a 6 PRC that I love. But sometimes I just don't have time to hand load, so I'd for sure be interested in loaded ammo. The key would be loading the ammo to fit with any freebore.LS Wild is about ready to get our manufacturing FFL. Interview with ATF is next week.
One of my first thoughts is building a turnkey 6 PRC system off a Tikka and/or custom action like Solus/Origin. Not a full custom, but semi custom assembling a rifle. We’ll also just sell the prefit barrels. The other cartridge would be a 22 Creedmoor.
We’re not going to be making any metal chips, so the cost will be an assembled rifle for about the cost to assemble the parts yourself.
I will work out brass, bullets, loads, etc. And, we would eventually include loaded ammo for it.
Is this a dumb idea? Or, would a handful of people be in for it?
I know a few people who would be interested in something like that, as would I. The 6PRC ammo would let people who don’t hand load get into a wildcat.LS Wild is about ready to get our manufacturing FFL. Interview with ATF is next week.

Well, the 24in barrel is running adg 65 Saum necked down. The 20in barrel is 6UM 30 brass. I'm going to try the 65 saum necked down in the 20in and see if there is a difference.6um30 brass in your 6saum chambered barrel?
