It’s steel, the SN curve of steel is amazing compared to brass and aluminum.

Fair, you should alway be wary of new things, but i suspect a few bar napkins calculations would ease concerns as well the fact quite a few people have been reloading 7 backcountry.

Also, you can stress relieve steel.

I saw a post somewhere saying that someone was getting 3315fps from a 6 creed running 107 tmk or 108eldms i believe.

It looks like similar performance to 6UM is within grasp for short actions.

What I'd love is to see this scaled down to 6 ARC +peak that would allow 6CM performance out of a 6 ARC size case. Not sure if they'll offer it because of the risk of shearing off bolt lugs in actions that can't take the pressure because they were designed for 62K pressure instead of 80K.

I am sure it depends on the action make, model and age that the 6 arc is built on... but when I emailed Zermatt about using their Origin Action for high pressure rounds they stated that they had shot over 50,000 rounds of high pressure ammo with no issues in their actions.

There are some people’s on the internets saying federal has 223, 6 arc, 300 blk out, and 308 in mind. No idea if true but they said they had shot peak alloy in all of these rounds.

223 and 6arc really excite me.

Basically the same thing as any cartridge in a ShellShock NAS3 case, yeah?

As someone that has run these extensively, I would say not really.

Nas3 not running at higher pressure, just the extra powder. Consistently get about 100fps gain, not 300. At least the companies loading them.

Still cool for the bump in case capacity. Will be interesting to see more DIY +PEAK information soon. 6CM and 25CM +PEAK is exciting.

That I agree with. The high pressure is cool.

I posted a video of a guy using Nas3 at 100k pressure getting something like 3500fps with 77gr in 5.56. Not saying that’s smart, but wow it would be cool to have that

I would love nothing more than to see a 6CM steel case hit 6UM velocities. I hate every part of reloading. But little birdies keep telling me the accuracy isn't there in these Federal cases.
