What are you guys having the best luck for accuracy + terminal performance in your 6mm Arc bolt gun reloads?

No experience on game yet but I have the 80gr ttsx going 2950 out of a 22” Howa mini using CFE223. At 300yrs it’s going about 2100fps

I had good luck with a max load of varget and 108 eld going about 2700 out of a 20” barrel suppressed. Only used it on one deer at about 1800fps impact velocity but it worked great. Still kinda regret selling it but off to chase 22cal dreams

ELDM? Any recollection on how much Varget? Thanks. I was looking at that and possibly the 90 Accubond before asking the question for those with experience

I want to say it was 24.3, might be just barely over book max. And yes eldm.

I'm starting on a load for a Howa mini, 30g leverevolution under a 108 eldm showed light swipe, 31 was substantial (for me) swipe and slightly heavy bolt lift. No Chrono on either, dead battery.

Hornady book shows 31 as a max in their bolt gun loads fwiw. Going to load a couple at 28 and a couple at 29 and see what we get.

I should add, factory Hornady match 108 eldm was great both for accuracy and terminal performance on a couple of deer, if I can get similar precision and a little more speed handloading I'll be a happy camper.

I killed this buck last year with a 108 ELDM. 200 yards 2500 muzzle velocity. Went about 40 yards and piled up. Don’t have autopsy photos because it’s Texas and was about 90 when I shot (opening weeekend) so I was in a hurry. But lungs were an absolute mess, top of heart was gone, and about a 1.5-2” exit hole.

I figured this would be a great setup for my son to take his first deer as I’ve had great success with ttsx in 6.5creed, 7mm08 and 308.

My Howa Mini 20" shoots the 95 LRX at 2852 with 31.7gr LVR. Also have a 87 Absolute Hammer load hits 3004 with 32.3gr of LVR. Killed a NoCal hog with the LRX, haven't shot anything with the AH yet.

Ive been meaning to try them but i have a ton of TTSX to get through first.

Ive been hunting with TTSX/LRX for the past 6 years or so and have had nothing but positive results on deer sized critters within 300y.

My bolt gun preferred 103 ELD-X. I took my first buck this fall and it did not go 10 feet. This is the only one I have experience with.
