See Post #98 in the "106 TAP for hunting" thread. The 106 midway 2nds that we all assumed were TAPs certainly had an interlock ring. Where is the image you posted from?

Even when I talked to Hornady they told me it didn't have an interlock rings. Unfortunately I don't have anything to use to separate these factory 2nds I have to compare but that's interesting.
