Probably just availability, and people thinking more lead is more better. The 108 eldm seems to be more popular than the 103 eldx. Is it that they tend to be more accurate with a better BC or does there seem to be better terminal performance with the M’s.

Now I’m really curious what my GT will do with them.Well I’m going to shoot 108eldm the remainder of the year. They shoot a little better.
Loaded up some 95tmk with 32 grains of varget. That made 2820 for one round clocked in my 21” dasher.
Freebore on my barrel is .120, way too long for the 95tmk. With the ogive over the neck shoulder junction as far as I care to leave it I’m still .070 off the rifling, which is longer than I normally start out. If I was going to shoot these I would want a much shorter freebore. Might work great for you guys with short creedmoor freebore chambers.
Anyways they shot well enough, but not as well as the 108s. I’ll play more in the off season and maybe try some xbr with them.
If anyone is hard up for 95tmk I have 88 left I’d be willing to send.
Here’s a 10 shot, forgot my chrono.
You will have the same issue with a saami freebore GT, bullets going to be jumping a good ways. Now I’m really curious what my GT will do with them.
Post up pics!FWIW...Took another Dall sheep this year with my Kimber Montana 243 Win. 95 grain partition at 215 yards.
Bugholes built my .280ai. That thing shoots. I bet you're gonna love it.Looking forward to some 6 ARC kills this season. Bug Holes has my Howa Mini action getting a Mullerworks barrel chambered in 6 ARC. Hopefully it arrives before season.

Maybe I’ll put a few in some deer, but I’m taking the 108s for elk. A few years ago I would have been happy with that group, Iv gotten too used to very consistent rifles.Nothing wrong with high accuracy standards. But I don’t see 1” 10shot groups with 95s as enough of an issue to abandon the terminal performance testing with them out to mid ranges.
But I can’t blame you for wanting to run higher bc 108s that shoot better.
Not sure I got that -- you're saying a SAAMI chamber is too long? You will have the same issue with a saami freebore GT, bullets going to be jumping a good ways.
Saami GT is .120 I believe. Not sure I got that -- you're saying a SAAMI chamber is too long?
That 95 LRX is a dang killer. They are one of my favorite ones for the 6CM.View attachment 942064
6mm creedmoor
95 grain LRX
Shot distance about 100 yards
Broadside, Aimed middle middle, hit where I was aiming.
Bear ran about 100 yards.
