Metal mag feed lips can help get it to feed. I have a howage setup with a 6.5CM that was a 30-06 in a previous life, MDT metal 5 round mag solved my issue, took a while to get the feed lips to push the case up without scratching the brass too bad.Quick question not sure if I should start a new thread but it is 6 creed related. I recently purchased a savage small shank 6 creed barrel that I need to put on an action. I have a .243 that I really like that I was going to use but I don’t know if I want to mess with that gun. A friend of mine has a 30-06 that I could get cheap but is there any hope of getting a 6 creed to reliably feed out of a long action with a factory mag

Every fudd is going to be screaming “that round doesn’t have enough wallop” at the TV when they see that.I don't know if this has been shared but the Exo Mountain Gear guys shot Alaskan moose at 200 and 400 yards with 6 CM. The link should skip to the part of the video where they discuss performance and show damage.
He'll just put the ear flaps on his hat down and tie them tightJVB will have fingers in ear: LA LA LA LA…I CANT HEAR YOU…
They'll just complain about how many shots it took him (The third one being unnecessary, but it was an insurance shot)... While looking away from how they do the same thing.Every fudd is going to be screaming “that round doesn’t have enough wallop” at the TV when they see that.
You would think with the popularity the 6mm is gaining the past several years that sierra would want to make a bullet that competes with the 108 eldm. Either way, unless sierra starts showing some consistency in the availability of their products, I won’t consider them. Reloading components are too rare and expensive to waste load work up on products that may/may not be available tomorrow.I heard Sierra has a production run of 95gr tmk's scheduled for March 2025. Also heard there have been discussion of a 100+ grain tmk but no plans currently to produce.
They are coming out with a 107g bullet. You would think with the popularity the 6mm is gaining the past several years that sierra would want to make a bullet that competes with the 108 eldm. Any hint of a timeframe? They are coming out with a 107g bullet.
It's not a TMK; imagine if an ELD-M and a Berger Hybrid had a baby. There is also a 142g 6.5, but I didn't hear the weight of the .223.I can't imagine the carnage that bullet will create with a 6um.
Hmmm.... Resupply on 108eld or wait it out for 107tmk?
I'm guessing they don't do a huge run and they're gone immediately then incredibly hard to get.
Either way.... Someone send a box to JVB!
Something like an OTM?It's not a TMK; imagine if an ELD-M and a Berger Hybrid had a baby. There is also a 142g 6.5, but I didn't hear the weight of the .223.
Do you have any info on BC that you can share? It's not a TMK; imagine if an ELD-M and a Berger Hybrid had a baby. There is also a 142g 6.5, but I didn't hear the weight of the .223.
A 107 TMK though?They are coming out with a 107g bullet.
A pointed 107smk has better bc, shorter bearing, very accurate and extremely consistent inside lot #s. I think it's a better bullet than the 108 eldm in most mannerisms but terminal. The 107 smk will not expand 90+ % the time. 108 is a monster of a bullet for killing. You would think with the popularity the 6mm is gaining the past several years that sierra would want to make a bullet that competes with the 108 eldm. They also updated some of the .243Anyone else notice weatherby low key just updated their twist for the 240 weatherby on some of their rifles? It’s supposed to be 1:7.5
That’s pretty cool, may be my next toy. Would really surpass the 6mm Creedmoor
