Next hog was running straight away at about 200yds. Put the Texas heart shot on her in the ass and sat her down . Then shot her straight in the shoulder. Bullet went straight through and left a good exit.
Impact velocity with the 95gr tmk’s at that distance was around 2560ish fps .
I’ve got about 300 of these 95gr tmk’s left and sure wish I could find more

Finally got some kills with the 95gr tmk launched out of an 18” creed.

1st hog was about 100yds away
2780ish impact velocity
Pretty good sized boar angled towards me. Shot him right under the ear. Bullet traveled all the way through to the opposite shoulder. Bullet was lodged on the outside of the shoulder and stop just at the “shield” . It f’d him up good. Never even kicked .
Where did u find the 95tmk bullets been looking for a while now

I read all 31 pages but need Cliff Notes on the 90 grain ELD-X. Found a very precise load for my 6mm ARC Bolt action.

I shot 3 animals with the 90 grain ELDX last year and was next to a buddy that shot another. All with .243s

Yardages were from 25 to 300 yds. All but one were instant light switches with exits. The one that didn't was mentioned in this thread and is still talked about frequently by my hunting crew. We have agreed to chalk it up as a WTF moment and keep shooting them.

Looking forward to more killin' and more data points this year, although I'll also be shooting the 87 grain hunting VLDs which get no love in this thread but were my go-to prior to the 90s. They are wicked fast in a 243...like 3300 fps fast.

Planning on killing at least one elk with them this year

This may have been covered already, however, has anyone had much success with the Hornady 105 bthp? Pretty cheap and regularly available. Kinda thinking a fast twist 243 or 6 creed and those would be a nice addition. If not I can just load the 108s when I get the barrel.

Yes. They kill well with a bit deeper penetration than most match bullets.

Exits on both.

They kill very well. I shoot them in 6cm.The factory hornady black ammo shoots just as good as any of my hand loads. So far I’ve always got exits and they are still destructive.
Below are 2 different mature bucks
