What’s your opinion on term performance compared to 108eld or old 105amax?
Similar to an ELD-X, a little narrower wound, and a little deeper penetration. They killed well.

I don’t think you would be. I’m running 105/106s in mine at 2900 without pressure.Since Tikka hasn’t jumped on board with a factory 6CM yet, would I be handicapping myself by just getting a T3X .243 in 1-8 twist? I don’t plan on shooting anything heavier than the 108gr ELD.

What COAL are you loading them to?108 ELDM I’m at 2900 fps with 1 gr under max load from the Hornady book. 20” barrel and Hybrid 100 V. No pressure signs.

LRHT have a pointed tip and thicker target jacket. Probably not ideal. That being said I killed a bunch of animals with the 135LRHT in 25 creedmoor and they seemed to upset like normal bergers for me. I would not trust them at lower impact velocity.Has there been any experience with the Berger 109 LRHT in regards to terminal performance? I have sone 105’s but considering switching to the 109 for the better ballistics.
Thanks for any and all feedback.

Few at point blank 2900ish impact, farthest was 2300fps impact 670 yards IIRC. They worked really well at less than 500 yards typical Berger no exit. Cow elk, mule deer, and pronghorn. Thanks for sharing. What velocity’s were you using them at? Have you tested them at high velocity?

PetersonDo you mind if I ask what brass you are all using for the 1:8 twist Tikka .243s? I’ve consider going this route, too.
Thank you, I appreciate that.Peterson
Same, Peterson. Just saw blue collar reloading has Lapua brass. I’d snag it if you are seriously considering itDo you mind if I ask what brass you are all using for the 1:8 twist Tikka .243s? I’ve consider going this route, too.
Good deal, I typically use Lapua, but haven’t been able to find it, so good to know, thank you!Same, Peterson. Just saw blue collar reloading has Lapua brass. I’d snag it if you are seriously considering it
