It reportedly reduces barrel life. Proof just came out with their PXT rifling to address that issue. I’ve seen rumors that Seekins is working on something similar-ish.

I posted elsewhere, possibly on youtube that seeing the combined results of the peak+ and the proof pxt Muddies the waters somewhat of what results could reasonably be expected from one or the other production.
So +peak in a regular 6 creed barrel and then factory 108 eldms in a proof pxt.
Maybe im being overly sceptical but I don't like stacking variables.

Im definitely watching with curiosity though.

I’ve seen videos out there with standard pressure cases being shot through PXT. Also +Peak being shot through standard rifling. The PXT has only been out for less than a month. We’ve had PA with the 7BC for a year and a half. Reportedly, the PXT should benefit just about any standard round, but especially those with a “barrel burner” reputation.
