Came across the Troy Sessions hunt planner training course and took it. Start off this by saying I don’t care good bad or indifferent opinions of him. The course was pretty good lots of info and ideas. I hadn’t thought of or seen in research. Calling sequences duration setups ect. His website has a full explanation of course. If you have the extra 200 bucks it’s worth the time. You can ask questions if you pay the upgrade. I’ve done lots of research and talked with other hunt planners on this forum and they were more than great also.

I haven't taken his course but I have to echo what you've said regarding troy. People have their feelings about him but my experience with him has always been great. my first trip to alaska was with his operation and I booked it two years out. I would call and text him all the time with questions and he was a wealth of information, never made me feel like I was bothering him and even invited my buddy and I to his house the night before we left for the field to hang out. We didn't come home with a moose but we have 2 amazing bulls that we should have taken come in and the only reason we didn't harvest was not being experienced enough, 100% our fault. Even in the following years and up until last year I have reached out with questions and he still responds and I have not purchased anything from him since the first hunt in 2017.
