Is the consensus for bushing size with ADG brass .270 or .271 or something else? Or does it matter? Need to order bushing(s)

I’m using .272, works well, .0025-003 neck tension IIRC

Question for all…I don’t reload much at all. So I made the choice to have UM load me up my first batch of 6UM40 ammo. I asked for the “production load” and in the end they sent me loaded ammo with Standard 115 DTACs, NOT the nosering version. I’m trying to not lose my mind about this and make them replace it, since I think they should be fine to break in the barrel. But I figure I will only need ~75 to properly break in the barrel. So what kind of performance should I expect from the standard DTACs on game out of a 6UM40 for the rest of the ammo? Or…should I lose my crap and ask Unknown to replace them so I can get the expected performance? Or am I looking way too much into this?

Don’t shoot animals without the NR. Get a hold of UM and have them replace. You could use 20 of them to see how their standard load will shoot out of your rifle. Both have shot the same out of my rifles.

Anyone try reloder powders? Like Re17? I know they’re made for short mags. I have a ton of reloder powders

Where are you located? I have a NR cutter.

I have assumed standard 6.5 saum length which I believe is 2.012-2.036.

Chamber length is 2.030” so trim to at least 2.020”.

Started with some charges to get on paper and some rounds down the barrel. At 25 rounds now. N570 and Retumbo as powders

N570 63gr at 2.915 COAL-3095FPS
Retumbo 63gr at 2.910 COAL-3172FPS

Speeds are preliminary I reckon until a few more rounds down the barrel but just thought I'd share. Think im going to load up some 64gr Retumbo just to see and 10 at 63gr to group because I could be happy with 3172fps.

The image with 2 shot touching and one outside is the N570 at 62gr and 63gr, the triangles are Retumbo at 62gr and 63gr.

Got time to shoot 10 rounds this morning. Think im going to load up the last 60 rounds and just focus on tightening this up. I believe the horizontal is me.
