6 dasher Brass

I've got 100 pieces of Peterson Brass for the 6 Dasher and need to pick up more. Any thoughts on Peterson vs. Alpha vs. Norma vs. fire forming Lapua? None of these options are currently available but would like to here thoughts on quality, longevity etc...

If you end up with new Norma you should check the case OAL. My buddy had an issue with the virgin brass neck being too like, like 1/16". It was very noticeable when compared to an equal piece of Peterson brass.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to stick with the Peterson so I have all the same head stamps but don't want to pick up more if there are better options.

I'm not sure I want to go through the exercise of fire forming the Lapua since I hear it could take 2 firings to completely reform.

I run Alpha and i have been happy with it. Also I think you can find it relatively easy..

This. The Norma dasher brass intentionally has longer necks than fireformed 6br brass and there is a "norma dasher" specific chamber spec for it. I wouldn't buy Norma dasher brass unless you have the norma dasher chamber.

Id also stick with either Peterson or Alpha soles for not having to fireform. Id do some research to the neck thickness difference between the two as I have read that the Alpha brass has thicker neck than Lapua and don't know where Peterson fits into the mix.

From what I can find it looks like Alpha & Peterson have the same neck wall thickness of 0.013". The reamer used for my chamber has a 0.275" neck and was recommended for Peterson / Alpha Brass. Sounds Like I should stick with the Peterson to keep the volume loading as close as possible.

Nice! IMO keeping it all the same is a plus but ive heard really good things about the new OCD brass from Alpha
