DoveBlaster runs 115 dtac at 3000fps from a 22” PBB prefit with a mild load of H4350, I think he has a fast barrel.

I’m a little over 2900fps with 108 eldm with similar charge if H4350.

I’m more comfortable with the 108 eldm tipped bullets from what I have read about the 115 dtac.

Iast season I took 2x antelope, 2x aoudad, 2x WT deer and a Muley from 60yds to 517yds and had very good performance with the 108s on all of them.

6cm optimal barrel time node with 108-112gr bullets is right around 2900-2950, next node is over 3000-3050fps. Getting above 3k with a 20" or shorter barrel is gonna require some pretty high psi.

I run 115 dta s in 243 Ackleys with 26 and 28" barrels as belly match guns for PResque matches. Running a case full of h1000 or n165 will get around 3050 fps at the accuracy node with a 26" barrel and 3150 fps at the accuracy node with a 28" barrel. The pressures are pedestrian. I have shot rain matches with mags full of mud and sand with zero pressure issues.

Current lot is running in 4dof with an adjustment to the axial form factor of .94. They are noseringed and the load has been trued to 1 mile.
I have not hunted with dtacs. I did shoot a crow with one the other day at 667 yards and it made a feathery explosion and the crow was dead before it hit the ground. Not sure how repeatable that is though.

I have been shooting hornady 105 bthp for hunting and had good luck. The bc is not impressive, but used them and 140 bthp to fill a bunch of antlerless tags and had nearly every deer drop at the shot with shots from 228 to 670ish.

I haven't used a ton of dtacs match shooting recently as I have mostly been shooting 108 bergers from a 6 dasher, but when I used to go through a few thousand a year (2020 and prior) I had to true with every lot. It was rare to have 2 lots true the same.

Even though I have had good luck with the 105 bthp, I have found the most consistent terminal results to come from poly tipped match bullets. I have not shot any elds (that's when I switched to bthp), but prior to that shot the 105 amax with good luck. Before I had fast twist custom barrel money, I had good luck with 95 sst and 95 nosler bt.

The 6cm can push the 115 fast, I have a 26" proof carbon prefit, and 45.5gr rl26 was running 3230fps and there was no apparent pressure signs on brass or running the action. But a guy can't run stuff at redline in the field. Bench conditions and field operations are vastly different.

Have you or anyone you know made any kills with 112 matchburners?
I use them in my match rifle after too many struggles with 115 dtacs, they straight up shoot.

Form has advocated for the 112 Matchburner on here, especially for deer/bear sized game. He had them up there with the ELDMs as far as his preferred 6mm killing bullets I believe, noting they are slightly quicker to upset than the ELDM but do the job well. There is a thread on here somewhere where he posted some pictures of their terminal effectiveness on game.

I haven't killed with with them yet. I shot a lot of game with the 108 elite hunter last year. It did very well. This year I'll be using 112s and 109eldm. I usually get 2 antelope tags and 4-6 deer tags every year, so I'll put plenty of holes in stuff.

I overlooked the 112 Match Burners. That B.C. is pretty nice compared to the 108 ELDM's.

Most match quality bullets are a step up bc wise from the 108 eldm. 105 hyb, 108 elite hunter, 109 eldm, 109 hybrid, 112 burner, 115 vld. I think for it's weight, it's the lowest bc. It hammers game tho. And honestly, a 265 VS 295 bc difference inside 700y, is maybe a tenth of mil wind difference, most of us can't shoot the difference. I personally like to get as much an edge as possible. The advertised bc of the 112 was a bit optimistic in my testing. To get waterline at 1100, 1000, and 850y, I had to run a 308-309g7. Which is still fantastic. 110 atips are the only "non pointed" 6mm with a higher g7 bc. I've heard they're inconsistent on expansion tho.

People get caught up in comparing bc. It takes a shitload of it to truly make a noticeable difference. I shoot 2 rigs for prs matches. One is a 243 Ackley with 115 dtacs at 3150 fps. The other is a 6 dasher with 108 berger targets at 2800 fps. If looking at calling a 90 degree crosswind, both will hit a 2 moa target at 1000 yards if you are off by 1 mph and both will miss if you are off by 2 mph.

The only time I notice a difference in ease of hitting with the 243 over the dasher is in a very strong head or tail wind where slight angle changes make drastic differences in the wind hold necessary to hit. In strong crosswinds coming from 2-4 o'clock or 8 to 10 o'clock there is not noticeable difference. Of course I have to hold more wind with a 5 mph gun over a 7 mph gun, but the misses due to wind don't noticeably increase or decrease.

I used to spend a lot of time comparing bullet bcs before I realized it was mental masturbation. Now, I choose bullets based on other metrics. Terminal performance, price, precision, etc are the deciding factors. I have found it takes .150 or .200 change in bc before really being noticeable anecdotally.
