Have a Howa mini in 6arc and planning a barrel for my ARC CDG in 6 arc. Looks like staball match comes up in several of the reloading manuals and was wondering if anyone is using in 6 arc bolt guns and would share your experiences and recipes?

I'm using staball match, and like it just fine. This is a kids' gun, set up for MPBR so absolute precision is not top priority for it. That said, 10 round groups under 1.5" have been pretty easy (also got that with Leverevolution). 2600ish with 108 ELDM in a 20" barrel mini is no drama.

I really like that it meters well. Thrown charges are plenty consistent enough, and that helps a ton vs something like Varget where I want to weigh and/or trickle each charge when the kids are making piles of spent brass.

Hodgdon reloading has Staball Match loads listed on the site.

Personally, I've been using Varget and Leverevolution. Lever can be a little finicky with temps, so I'd work up a load during the summer. Lever gives me better speeds and meters really well compared to Varget.

i dont reload and dont know a thing about it. but, my son in law is working up a load with 8208 thats doing what i ask him to do so far. im not sure how much powder hes using, but its hitting 2750 range in my 20 inch barrel without pushing it to hard. he hasnt worked up a accuracy load yet but so far its promising.

Lever and Varget have been the best for me. I’ve used CFE223, TAC, StaBALL Match, and a few more, but Lever and Varget are the best for my needs.

I’m using a 16” BCA AR barrel in a side pull non gassed. 95 TMK at 2625 fps with VV N540, can go faster but this is where it wants to shoot the best.

H4895 & AA2520 have been working very well in my rifle. 2650-2680 with a 107smk shoots pretty dang well with either powder. The smk didn't like N540 and Varget accuracy wise, N540 gave good velocity tho.

Interesting. I pressure out with H4895 and acceptable accuracy. AA2520 is extremely slow by several hundred fps and 2” plus groups are the best it offered

I have to run about 3gr more 2520 VS H4895 to get thay mid to upper 2600 mv. 27 VS 30gr in alpha brass.

H4895 gives me 2725 FPS with 105 Berger hybrids and very good accuracy out of a 20” Howa CF barrel. Very temp stable powder…

I tried their listed loads for LVR and they fill into the case neck with both hornady and peterson brass. Too much compression for me with 109's being a very long bullet. I sent them an email asking if the loads were correct and they responded something about variations in chamber dimensions.

But I have had success with TAC using their load data for the 109's (2750 fps 20 inch howa mini) and 90 eldx (2950fps). I had a bunch for my 308 and 30-30, so it was the easy button. Accuracy was good, about an inch.
