Looking for a suitable scope to put on a 6.5CM for predominantly Northeast whitetail. Here's the kicker - I likely will be hunting within ~200yds but would like to be able to target shoot or reach out to 300-350 if I want to.
It looks like with a 100yd zero I will be ~13'' low at 300yds. Should I go with MPBR or would it be possible to get a capped turret scope and pull the top to dial for those rare instances when I'm hunting farther than 200 or target shooting? Right now I'm eyeing a Trijicon Credo 3x9. Any suggestions in that price range would be most welcome....The SWFA seems to be perpetually backordered... Nothing else in that price range seems to reliably dial. Do people hunt with capped turrets and dial if needed?
